Breaking Workshops at Parry Hall

We run Street Dance Sessions at Parry Hall, Tredworth, Gloucester. Our fun dance sessions in Breaking (Breakdancing) are on Thursdays and taught by Banxy.


Ages 8-12, 5:00-5:30pm

Ages 13-18, 5:45-6:15pm 

Entry free.

Breaking Workshops at Llanthony Secunda Priory

Check out our Street Dance Sessions at the Llanthony Secunda Priory in Gloucester. Our fun dance sessions in Breaking (Breakdancing) are for young people of all levels and experiences. 


Every Thursday from 6th May - 17th June 2021 (except 27th May).

Ages 8-12, 6.45-7.15pm / Ages 13-18, 7.30pm-8.00pm

We also run breaking workshops at The Cavern, in Partnership with Kingfisher Treasure Seekers and funded through Active Gloucestershire. Workshops are on Tuesdays.

Breaking Workshops at The Vibe Youth Centre - POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

We run Street Dance Sessions at the Vibe Youth Centre in Gloucester. Our fun dance sessions in breaking (breakdancing) are on Thursdays, for young people who attend Echoes#2 youth night.

Years 4-6, 6.15-7.15pm

Years 7-8, 7.45pm-8.45pm

Term time only.

Entry costs £2.50 per class.

Breaking Classes at Gloucester Guildhall - 


Interested in learning street dance? We run weekly breaking (breakdancing) classes at Gloucester Guildhall. Classes are every Wednesday, from 6-7pm. First class is free, then it's £2 per class after that - all levels are welcome.  No need to book - just turn up and have a go!

How We Support Your Creativity and Expression

With Your Next Move, you will learn the fundamentals of hip-hop, the history of its culture, strong techniques, and most importantly, find your individual style. Our team will help you to explore a variety of street dance styles, including hip-hop, b-boying, house, breaking, locking, waacking and popping. 


Our workshops are hosted in a safe environment, by award-winning performers in music and dance. Dance courses will include demonstrations and a chance to learn and perform choreography. Or, if your form of expression is not through dance, you can try beatboxing, DJ’ing or MC’ing. Freestyle dance is perfect for individuals looking to express themselves without restrictions. The moves are fluid, relaxed and This art form can help anyone from all walks of life, to strengthen themselves physically and emotionally. Through our workshops, Your Next Move will:

  • Enhance your physical well-being: mobility, flexibility, strength, stamina, etc)

Criteria for engagement

For our workshops, participants should:

  • Have a love for their chosen art form

  • Be able to memorise key moves or skills within their chosen art form

  • Work well with others

  • Be punctual

  • Be attentive to the workshop and its leader.
