September was born in London but raised in Gloucestershire. From as young as 6 months old she was working in front and behind the scenes of well-known Film and TV sets. This inspired her to pursue a career within the creative media industry, in 2016 she studied an Extended Film and Media Diploma at Gloucester College and then went on to study at Manchester School of Art, after the first year she realised that she did not want to continue with her studies and decided to take a leap of faith and follow her dream, to start up her own production company.
“SkiSka” was initially created to serve as an outlet for her own content (documentary’s, podcast series and short films) but evolved into creating video content for other businesses and artists. Originally choosing to move to Manchester to completely detach herself from her home town, she realised she was a part of Gloucester ongoing problem, running away rather than addressing the Cities issues. Shortly after moving back to Gloucester, she earned the opportunity to start working for Three Choirs Festival in May 2019 as their Cultural Ambassador. Her job aims to create visual ways to engage with Gloucester’s community and try and capture a new and diverse audience.
Through her work at Three Choirs Festival she was invited to join the Youth advisory board where she was approached by Tyler about working for Your Next Move as their Marketing Manager.
